Customer Support Officers - working from home

Ref: HM/CSO Salary: £10.59 hour Contract Type: TemporaryLocation: Work from Home

We have an urgent requirement for 3 full time Customer Support Officers to complete an assignment with an immediate start that initially runs until the end of September and is within the public sector.

The beauty with these positions is that you will be able to WORK FROM HOME and provided with the equipment and a days group training (for which you will also be paid) enabling you to confidently go live. Please note our client has requested that applicants MUST LIVE in the Folkestone, Hythe, Ashford, Dover, Canterbury or immediate surrounding areas in order to be considered. This is due to the logistics of attending the training day and collection of the equipment.

Rate of Pay: £10.59 per hour 
Hours of work: Monday to Friday: 9.45am– 5.00pm (with a lunch break)
Duration: approximately 6/8 weeks and thereafter to be confirmed

The experience we are seeking:                                                                                                                                                                                             The ideal applicants will come from a background where customer focus has been key, either face to face or over the telephone - or both, but ultimately, you must be able to communicate with people at all levels and be able to demonstrate a sensitive and yet professional approach at all times. PC skills are also required and you must be able to pick things up quickly.

The Position:
The position is all about delivering outstanding levels of customer care to members of the general public who will be making initial telephone enquiries in relation to the new Household Support Fund, which is being offered through the government and distributed by local Councils to those in need.
The positions are pretty straight forward and with the full days training will enable you to confidently handle these enquiries.
It's all about simply giving information to people making the enquiries, perhaps assisting individuals in completing an online enquiry form, but ultimately stepping up in terms of customer support.
There may be some outbound calling as well, but NOT in a sales capacity whatsoever, but simply to encourage those families/residents applicable to apply for the additional financial support available to them.

You will also be completing ad hoc administrative duties and trained on Webchat.
