This is a great opportunity with a super company located on the outskirts of Hythe/New Romney area for a Training Co-ordinator.
We are looking for someone available for an immediate start in order to facilitate a good handover.
Reporting to the HR Manager, applications are invited from individuals who can offer excellent all round administrative and organisational capabilities, who enjoy co-ordinating lots of information, liaising with both internal and external people to bring everything together and make it happen! Any experience with co-ordinating Training could be helpful, although not considered essential, but you must enjoy working within a fast paced environment, working to timeframes and high standards at all times.
We are searching for someone special who can not only embrace the role and make it their own, but at the same time, in terms of soft skills, we need someone confident, polite, professional and courteous, who is of course, approachable.
The role is wide and varied and will include, but is not limited to:
Booking actual training courses relevant to their business needs.
Negotiate training costs with providers.
Manage the Training budget.
Evaluate the effectiveness of the training via feedback received.
Co-ordinate and implement the training schedule.
Maintain the training records on the system.
Communicate with the Trainers themselves.
Book the venues for the training to be completed.
Monitor attendance to the training.
Keep colleagues scheduled to attend these courses, up to date and informed.
Gathering, logging and issuing the training certificates.
Maintaining the Training records database on Excel.
Hours of work, rate of pay etc:
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Holiday entitlement 25 days + 8 bank holidays.
To start, the hourly rate is £10.00 per hour, so the equivalent starting salary is £19.5K per annum.
You would start on a temporary basis for 12 weeks, and transfer across onto a permanent contract at the end of this initial period, during which time you would be DBS checked due to the nature of their business, so this is a perfect opportunity for you to get to know the client and vice versa.
Also, on satisfactory completion of the initial 12 weeks, there is a strong possibility of an increase in annual salary, depending on performance.
The initial start will be in the office a couple of days a week and for now, during the Covid situation, the remainder of your time will be working from home until everyone returns full time, but rest assured, this is an extremely supportive and friendly company who will help you put everything in place going forward.
