An interesting new instruction from our established global manufacturing client (non-food) for a Perpetual Inventory Counter.

This opportunity is being presented on a fixed term contract basis for a period of 12 months and we are looking for someone to start asap!

A salary in the region of £18K is available.

Our client would prefer someone who has worked within a similar environment/capacity before, however full on the job training is provided for the right person, but you will require high levels of competency in Word and Excel.

 
Work Pattern:

Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm

 
Role Summary:

The role is placed within Warehouse Services.

The main purpose of the role is to count, reconcile and report on raw material inventory in accordance to pre-determined inventory cost plan.

You will assist in the progressing of inventory accuracy to 100%.

Track progress against re agreed plan ensuring plan is closely adhered to.

To report daily on the number of inventory records checked.

Update the count data into the Menu.xls spreadsheet.

Extract recorded data on request.

Assist with the continual improvement of the business.

In addition, you will require:

Excellent communication skills required in order to communicate with individuals both internally and externally.

Good PC skills including Word & Excel.
