This is an exciting opportunity for an Analytical Chemist to join a professional Lab Team on a permanent basis.

What does the role entail?
The role is with a global manufacturing organisation and the purpose of this role will be to analyse Finished Products and Raw Material to the company’s specifications, where you will be responsible for meeting statutory and regulatory customer requirements with the Good Control Laboratory Practice (GCLP) and Analytical Quality Control (AQC) framework.
Areas of Responsibility, depending on your experience:
Could include a combination of the following and where there are any gaps on your experience, training and support can be provided:
Testing of Finished Products according to the appropriate specifications.
Testing raw and incoming materials according to the appropriate specifications.
Act as Subject Matter Expert in Chromatography (HPLC, FTIR and UV / Vis)
Training more junior analysts in complex techniques
Lead in the investigation of out of specification samples/batches or CAPAs. Including raising of NCRs.
Performing in process checks on bulk products both pre and post filtration as necessary.
Ensuring that all laboratory equipment is routinely calibrated and is in good working order.
Preparing and maintaining a range of standard solutions and bench reagents used in the quantitative and qualitative analysis of incoming samples, within the GLP framework.
Recording all results as per GMP standards.
Perform validations of new and existing test methods with assistance of Chemistry Laboratory.
Desirable experience:
Proficient in High performance liquid chromatography desirable.
Experience in an Analytical Laboratory experience is a desirable
Experience in Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA), Change control, & Non-conformance investigations and reporting
Proficient in Microsoft applications and equipment control application ie. chromatography systems are desirable
Proficient in Validation of Products and Equipment is desirable
