General Purpose
As a Case Manager, you will act as the facilitator between Underwriter and the customer, introducer, 3rd party property specialists and solicitor from the point of application through to completion. You will ensure that the customer documentation is managed effectively to enable a smooth and speedy journey from application to funding.
Main Duties
- Support Underwriting colleagues with their pipeline applications
- Monitoring own email inbox and team inboxes for new enquiries and documents
- Take telephone enquiries from Brokers and direct Borrowers for new applications
- Accurately manage the submission process, ensuring all data entry is accurate completed to ensure a smooth transition to underwriting, logging all new enquiries on the CRM
- Process applications from receipt of pack to submission to underwriting, completing information on relevant systems, and completing relevant fraud prevention checks.
- Package new applications received, providing an initial case assessment, reviewing Assets & Liabilities of the borrower, and requesting any additional information required by the Underwriter
- Requesting consent for 2nd charges from existing Lenders
- Proactively manage a pipeline of 50 cases for the Underwriter to achieve completion targets, ensuring that information is proactively requested from customers and third parties
- Provide customers and other stakeholders with updates and ensure required information is requested within service levels
- Ensure all data entry and notation of systems is accurately completed accurately and within agreed SLA for all new transactions
- Be clear and consistent in communication with brokers, introducers, customers & colleagues to build and maintain positive working relationships
- Prepare valuation, Asset Manager/Project Monitoring Surveyor and Legal instructions for the underwriter
- Draft conditional offer letters and Facility Letters
- Represent the business at PIN and other networking events as part of your ongoing development
- Your role may include activities outside of your day-to-day role.
Person Specification
- Excellent communication skills, with a commitment to minimising customer effort and maximising business goals
- Previous experience in an administration role
- Understand property and wish to develop a career in the specialist finance industry
- Understanding of what a good customer outcome looks like
- High degree of accuracy and a keen attention to detail
- Excellent planning and organisational skills that enable cases to be funded in the optimum timeframe
- Team player
