An exceptional opportunity for a Graduate Trainee  who is looking to kick start their career within financial services, for an impressive and well established company in area.

 

This could be a perfect role for someone bright with a strong work ethic, who is IT savvy, with a passion for numeracy, who wants to join a forward thinking organisation prepared to offer full training to the right person, but we are ultimately looking for someone with a numerical/analytical background, who would be ideally placed for a position of this nature.

 

 

You will start with key financial administration duties and then as you progress, there will be an opportunity to further develop within the company to more complex financial administration then ultimately into Paraplanning.

 

Therefore, we are searching for a relatively recent graduate in order to meet the challenges of this position.

 

The role:

You will initially be trained in the online processing of new business applications for retail clients in a timely and compliant manner for all types of Pensions, Investments and Protection.

The role will include preparing client files for Adviser meetings.

It will involve ongoing maintenance and serving of the existing client base, which is a key element of the role.

Processing letters of authority.

Producing illustrations, comparison quotations including the collating of literature and pre population of applications.

Updating client portfolios for annual reviews and printing reports.

Issuing policy documents to clients.

Creating new client files and maintaining existing.

Diary management: scheduling, re scheduling appointments.

Completion of ad hoc administrative duties.

Occasional meeting and greeting clients/visitors to the office.

 

The Ideal person:

A recent graduate who is articulate, professional and well presented.

The ability to work both individually and also as part of a team.

Excellent numeracy and accuracy skills with attention to detail important.

The ability to cope in a busy, fast paced office environment with strong organisational skills.

Good communication skills (both spoken and written) required.

Must be able to demonstrate competency using Word & Excel.

 

Package:

An attractive starting salary aimed at graduate level.

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Support towards industry exams (CII/PFS)
