We are currently recruiting for an employer of choice located on prestigious Kings Hill, for a number of roles within their INSURANCE CLAIMS TEAM. These are NOT sales related roles!
Depending on your experience gained to date, we have opportunities for:
Trainee Claims Assessors
For the Claims Assessor roles, we would ideally be looking for individuals who have already had some degree of exposure to technical claims.
However, for the right people with no previous claims handling experience BUT sufficient levels of customer service skills and the aptitude to move into a Claims Assessor role, our client would be happy to entertain individuals initially as a “Trainee” Claims Assessor and offer training.
With some degree of previous technical claims experience – starting sal £18.5K + benefits
Trainee Claims Assessor
With no claims experience – starting sal £17.5K + benefits, rising to £18.5K after completion of 6 month probationary period.
The expected probation period for the Trainee role is 6 months and this period is simply to ensure sufficient time to train and gain competency in the technical aspects of assessing claims.
For the Trainee role, this could be ideal for a graduate, or an individual who has obtained reasonable grades, with strong customer service capabilities who would embrace the training and have the aptitude to learn the requirements of the role.

Main purpose of the role:
The Claims Assessor/Trainee Claims Assessor positions are placed within the Protection Claims team.
Type of claims dealt with in this department:
Life, GAP/Motor, RTI, Accident & Sickness, Unemployment and Life Event Claims
The role involves assessing and validating claims within limits of authority (value).
Collating information from the Policyholder in order to do so.
Updating system records to accurately and clearly reflect the claim journey, keeping the customer informed at all times, ensuring their claims journey is a memorable one for all the right reasons whilst at the same time, enabling the company to continually build on their outstanding reputation.
