Title: Packaging Line Leaders

Location – Ashford, Kent

Working Hours – 4 x Line Leaders AM shift (6am- 2pm) 4 x Line Leaders PM. Shift (2pm – 10pm)

We are currently working alongside an award-winning manufacturing company who are recruiting for a number of Line leaders to join their manufacturing team.  Operating and Leading a specified Line within the Production facility, you will work closely with internal colleagues mainly Production Team Leader & Production Shift manager, Snr Production & Engineering Manager, Filling Operators, wider manufacturing teams, Engineering team, Quality Officers.

You will ensure the efficient operation of all Line Requirements at the site in Ashford, specifically Labelling, Carton and Packaging Operations, whilst being responsible for the staff on your line.  You will meet the production schedule and production targets for customer satisfaction, quality, and cost in a safe working environment. 

What skills and experience should you have?

We would like you to have the following experience

• Experience and knowledge working within a Good Manufacturing Practice environment
• Familiar with secondary Packaging
• Leadership experience preferable
• Good paperwork and cGMP skills
• Knowledge and successful application of continuous improvement activities.
• Effective communication and IT skills.
• A good knowledge of Health & Safety Practices.
• A practical approach to problem solving.
• Comfortable using small tools
