The Paraplanner Role:
As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality financial planning services.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Preparing comprehensive financial reports and detailed client recommendations.
- Conducting in-depth research and analysis of financial products.
- Supporting financial advisors in creating and implementing client financial plans.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Maintaining accurate client records and documentation
Paraplanner Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with advisors to gather client information and understand their financial objectives.
- Analyse and assess clients' financial situations, including cash flow, investments, retirement planning, and risk management.
- Prepare suitability reports and presentation materials for client meetings.
- Stay updated on industry trends, product developments, and regulatory changes.
- Assist with the management of client relationships, providing excellent service and prompt responses to client inquiries.
Paraplanner Requirements:
- Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in a paraplanning role within a financial advisory firm.
- Strong knowledge of financial products, investment strategies, and financial planning principles.
- Proficient in financial planning software and MS Office suite.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
