Payroll Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Process end-to-end payroll for diverse workforces, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Maintain employee records, tax information, and other payroll-related data.
  • Collaborate with clients & finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Respond to employee and client enquiries regarding payroll matters in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Operator, with a strong understanding of payroll processing and regulations.
  • Proficiency in using payroll software and MS Excel for data management and analysis.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy, especially when working with sensitive financial data.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with relevant payroll legislation and regulations.
  • Organisational and time-management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Package:

Salary for this role is based on experience and qualifications, ranging from £25,000 to £40,000 as a package.
