Product Development Co-ordinator

A new instruction for a Product Development Co-ordinator with an established global client specialising in the manufacture of personal care products.

The Product Development Co-ordinator is new position within the business that will evolve over time with project expansion and development.

 

Key Points:

The role will work closely with Research & Development and the Regulatory team and is considered ideal for an individual with project management/project co-ordinator experience with a minimum of 2 years plus experience.

Communication and organisational skills are paramount as this role will involve liaising with stakeholder across the Busiiness to co-ordinate projects.

The role holder will have knowledge of registering products and previous experience working with consumer products, medical devices or fast moving consumer goods.

The ideal candidate will understand formulating/creating of a product and have knowledge of documentation processes and the skills to pull information and collate this into a formal to distribute to other stakeholders within the business.

The position reports to a Senior Manager based in the US and therefore, flexibility is key, as the role will involve a level of autonomy and accountability and whilst the role is based within the R & D Team and work with other colleagues in the UK,  it will largely be standalone.

 

The Position:

This role will include gathering of technical documents in support of product registration transformation of information into standardized formats for global  dissemination and uploading documents into global dossier files.

You will work cross functionally with the Global Regulatory team to facilitate product registration as necessary.

In addition, this role will require the co-ordination of product development activities under the supervision of an R & D Manager in a manner consistent with the company core principles of teamwork, consumer and customer focus personal responsibility and integrity and ethical behaviour practices.

 

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Working with subject matter exports (SMEs) within the R & D function to gather product information technical documentation safety data, claims support documentation, manufacturing flowcharts, etc.,

to enable global market launches.

Co-ordinate responses to date requests.

Funnel and track requests to SMEs.

Work cross functionally with global Regulatory team to facilitate product registration.

Leverage experience and scientific background to co-ordinate product development activities to enable product expansion into global markets.

Manage lab samples and product prototypes as required by project or through contract manufacture collaboration.

Interact on project teams.

Enter finished product, raw materials and test method specification onto SAP system as required.
