Digital Marketing Account Manager

Folkestone - Kent, Hybrid.

£29,000 - £39,000 DOE

The ideal candidate will embody the qualities of a strategist, a brand advocate for our client, an adept relationship builder, and a proficient project overseer. You will lead, cultivate, and refine digital strategies for clients, ensuring their execution meets the highest standards through seamless collaboration with departmental teams.

Your proficiency in communicating Search (SEO/PPC/Content) concepts will be paramount. You will be entrusted with managing a diverse portfolio of clients spanning various industries, and will also be responsible for nurturing a team of strategists, encouraging them into future leaders in strategic account management.

The Role:

  • Translate clients' business objectives into a well-defined strategy, leveraging their comprehensive approach while establishing measurable KPIs for performance evaluation.
  • Maintain oversight of external KPI targets, ensuring monthly targets are met and taking accountability for performance.
  • Collect and analyse metrics to furnish actionable insights to both clients and internal teams. Verify the correctness of the strategy and ensure that the tactics employed by the entire client team are making significant strides across all available channels.
  • Engage in client communication, from team recommendations to addressing client queries, ensuring alignment with best practices and their digital strategy and objectives.
  • Craft strategic digital roadmaps, gaining buy-in from client contacts at all organisational levels, from C-suite stakeholders to digital marketing executives.
  • Deliver comprehensive Business Reviews that identify opportunities for cross-channel collaboration.
  • Establish regular in-person meetings with clients.

About you:

  • A fervent interest and aptitude for Digital Marketing.
  • A commitment to excellence in every interaction between SGM and clients.
  • Results-oriented mindset.
  • Certified in Google Analytics & Google Ads.
  • Proficiency in utilising tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, AWR, and Google Search Console.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational prowess, enabling you to devise and present detailed proposals and execute campaigns within designated timelines and budgets.
  • A proven track record in managing client demands, encompassing both the planning and execution of multi-disciplinary campaigns, as well as ad-hoc tasks.
  • A collaborative team player, ready to work in tandem with colleagues to conceive multi-discipline campaigns.
  • Capable of aiding in the creation of sales collateral as needed, and attending pertinent pitch meetings.
