Recruitment Solutions (Folkestone) Ltd has been engaged to assist with the recruitment of a number of Grounds Maintenance Operatives  for the 2021 summer season, so if you would like to be part of the local Council Grounds Maintenance Team, please apply!

These positions will start on or around 1^st April  and run until the end of September so the potential for 6 months continuous work!

Applications are invited from hard working, committed and reliable individuals in order to complete general gardening and grounds maintenance duties in and around the Folkestone, Hythe and surrounding district.

A driving licence is preferred as you will be provided with a small works van in order to get to site each day.

Any previous gardening or grounds maintenance experience could be helpful, but on the job training will be provided

Working as part of the Council Grounds Maintenance team, duties will include:

Grass cutting

Digging and planting up flower beds

Weeding

Cutting back /lopping hedges shrubs etc

Basic garden maintenance work

Hours of work:

37 hours per week

Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 4.00pm

Friday 7.30am – 12.30pm so an early finish!

Rate:

£9.35 per hour x 37 hours per week

Weekly pay and holiday pay!
